The existing building of IEK Akmi in the center of Athens is located in the urban net of the city, right on the busy avenue of 28th October. The aim of intervention is the immediate and economical signaling of the building. Thus, a vertical radial play of geometric colored shapes is created on the façade, as well as a horizontal play of asymmetric light lines. The dominant element of the facade is the central light marking, so that the building strongly declares its existence and is immediately perceived from all views.
