This intervention concerns the renovation of an existing 9-storey car parking building with 2 basements in a busy part of Athens. Based on the needs and existing legislation, the location and arrangement of required electro-mechanical spaces are redefined, the floors hosting the parking spaces are being upgraded, as well as the ground floor hosting the entrance and offices of the parking. The aim is to create a modern environment that moves away from stereotypes and treats the specific use as an important public gathering space. The facade changes: it is repainted, the glass curtains are replaced and the inscriptions are modernized following a more abstract approach.
