The project concerns the transformation of a ground-floor retail space on one of Patras’ main streets, into a children’s hair salon.
The narrow, elongated floor plan features two entrances — one main access from the street and a secondary one from within the building. The layout accommodates all core functions of a hair salon: seven workstations, wash units, spaces for storage a waiting area for parents and children, and a small coffee preparation corner.
As the space is intended for young children, the design introduces elements of play and discovery throughout the user experience. Wall recesses, bold colors, and contrasting textures on walls and flooring create an environment that stimulates the senses and curiosity of children — a setting that feels both welcoming and engaging.
